President Donald Trump, who has already renamed two bodies of water after America, said he would like to redub the Atlantic Ocean as well — but that the CEO of Google pushed back on the idea.

At a rally at Clemson University in South Carolina Tuesday evening, Trump told the crowd, “So we have a lake. And we have a gulf. Now we need a river, and we need an ocean.” Trump continued: “I only like two oceans: the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. I’m not gonna put either ‘Trump’ or ‘America’ on any other ocean but these two.”

Last year, Trump declared that the Gulf of Mexico would henceforth be known as the “Gulf of America.” This August, amid a trade feud with Canada, he ordered Lake Ontario to be now called “Lake America.”

Trump said he “seriously looked at” renaming the Atlantic Ocean and called Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet and Google, to ask whether Google Maps would rename the Atlantic.

“I said, ‘Sundar, I’m thinking of the Atlantic Ocean. Can you handle it?'” Trump recalled. According to Trump, the Google CEO responded, “No, no, no — this time I’m not doing it… Oceans are different, sir. They cover really a lot of countries. Please don’t ask us to do that.”

Trump said after the conversation with Pichai, he would “probably pass” on trying to rename the Atlantic Ocean.

Reps for Google did not respond to a request for comment.

In the U.S., Google Maps displays both the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario with the new Trump-designated monikers but includes the more recognizable names in parentheses in search results.

Trump has displayed a predilection for renaming things. Last year, his hand-picked board of trustees at the Kennedy Center voted to retitle the D.C. cultural institution “The Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts,” but the name change was reversed by a federal court.

Meanwhile, Trump has several times put forth the notion that New Mexico should change its name to “New America.” In an Oct. 19 post on Truth Social, the U.S. president said, “New Mexico should immediately change its name to New America. We are not Mexico, we are the United States of America! The name would add great value and prestige to the State!” Without citing evidence, Trump claimed that “Home Values and Incomes would rise” following such a renaming.

You poor fools, There are probably seniors or folks in a jam in your neighborhood and do not know it or care. Trump tries something and the dog oodles wet their panties. If President Donald J Trump sees something that needs done he is going to do it. Congress and legislators could do it also, but arguing over the cash for it will be argued and disappear into someone cash account, screw the needy, we got ours , let them get their own, politics 101!

A nation collectively is whatever the majority makes it. They elect the leaders and they define the identity. Choose your words carefully to describe that majority.

He stole the election and that is coming to light. As far as I can tell, he hasnt accomplished a single thing that actually needed to be done, and he hasnt followed through on 99 out of every 100 things he promised (none of which needed to be done either).

He is going down as the worst, most corrupt and morally bankrupt president in history and there is NOTHING anybody can say or do that will change that legacy at this point.

        Nothing.
